Verity James

Verity, or Vera as she is known to her friends, has been writing for most of her life and always for the simple pleasure that writing gives her. Her ideas and plots come thick and fast, each one with a twist and complexity befitting a well-published author. However, publication of any completed manuscripts never came through. For her 90th birthday, her friends at Monday Writers of Tewkesbury published 'Boodle', a charming collection of children's stories written by Vera and beautifully illustrated by Pauline Potterill.
